EnclosureWorks San Mateo Sunrooms is a sunroom contracting company based in San Mateo, CA. We provide services including but not limited to sunroom additions, sunroom construction, patio enclosures, screen room installation, solarium installation, and related design and remodeling services. Services are performed in accordance with applicable California state laws and local building codes.
The information on this Site is provided for general informational purposes. It does not constitute a binding service agreement. A formal written contract is required before any work begins.
All cost estimates provided - whether verbally, by email, or through this Site - are preliminary and non-binding until confirmed in a signed written contract. Final pricing depends on factors assessed during a physical site visit, including the condition of your existing structure, materials selected, permitting requirements, and scope of work.
Any written contract we provide will include an itemized breakdown of costs, materials, and work scope. We do not begin work until a contract is signed by both parties and any required deposit is received.
Project start dates are subject to permit approval timelines, material availability, and scheduling constraints. We will communicate scheduling updates to you throughout the process. We are not responsible for delays caused by city permitting offices, supply chain issues, or weather conditions.
Cancellation terms - including any applicable deposit forfeiture - are specified in your individual written service contract. If you need to cancel or reschedule prior to contract execution, there is no cancellation fee.
Payment schedules, deposit amounts, and accepted payment methods are outlined in each individual service contract. Payment milestones are typically tied to project phases - such as permit approval, foundation completion, and final inspection. Final payment is due upon satisfactory project completion and your acceptance of the finished work.
Accounts not paid according to the agreed schedule may result in a work stoppage until the account is brought current. Any applicable late fees will be specified in the service contract.
Any workmanship warranty we provide is stated in your written service contract. Warranty coverage, duration, and exclusions vary by project type. We do not make any warranties beyond those stated in writing in your contract.
Manufacturer warranties on materials and products installed as part of your project are separate from our workmanship warranty and are subject to the terms of the respective manufacturer. We will provide documentation for any manufacturer warranties that apply to your project.
The content on this Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EnclosureWorks San Mateo Sunrooms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions in your home that are discovered during construction, including but not limited to hidden water damage, pest damage, structural deficiencies, or non-compliant prior work. When such conditions are discovered, we will notify you and provide a written change order before proceeding with any additional work.

In the event of a dispute arising from a service engagement, we ask that you first contact us directly so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. Most issues can be addressed quickly through direct communication.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the matter through mediation before pursuing litigation. The cost of mediation shall be shared equally unless otherwise agreed in writing.
These Terms and Conditions and any service agreements with EnclosureWorks San Mateo Sunrooms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
