Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of EnclosureWorks San Mateo Sunrooms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Services Provided

EnclosureWorks San Mateo Sunrooms provides sunroom installation, patio enclosures, screen rooms, and related construction services to residential properties in San Mateo, CA and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and our ability to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Project timelines and pricing are provided as estimates and may change based on site conditions, permit requirements, and material availability.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from what was assessed during the initial consultation. We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding with work.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After 30 days, pricing may be subject to change based on material costs and availability. A deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that our crew has safe and clear access to the work area. This includes removing obstacles, securing pets, and notifying household members of the construction schedule. You must also provide accurate information about your property and disclose any known issues that may affect the installation.

If you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled installation, you must provide at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made with less notice may result in rescheduling fees. If work is delayed due to factors within your control, additional charges may apply.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials. All installations come with a warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period as outlined in your contract. This warranty does not cover damage caused by weather events, improper maintenance, or modifications made by others.

Manufacturer warranties on materials and components are passed through to you and are subject to the terms set by each manufacturer. We will assist you with warranty claims as needed, but we are not responsible for manufacturer defects or delays in warranty service.

Permits and Compliance

We will obtain all necessary permits required for your project and ensure that work complies with local building codes. Permit fees are typically included in your project quote unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for providing any homeowner association approvals or additional permits that may be required by your community.

If permit applications are delayed or denied due to factors beyond our control, we will work with you to find solutions, but we are not responsible for delays caused by permitting authorities or HOA approvals.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EnclosureWorks San Mateo Sunrooms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or any delays in project completion. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the services provided.

We carry appropriate insurance coverage for our work, but we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage caused by factors outside our control such as severe weather, natural disasters, or acts of third parties.

Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, and materials created by EnclosureWorks San Mateo Sunrooms remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You may not use our designs for projects completed by other contractors without our written permission.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about our services, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can resolve the issue. Most disputes can be settled through open communication and good faith efforts on both sides.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. Any legal disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and resolved in the courts of San Mateo County.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

For contracts already in progress, the terms in effect at the time of contract signing will apply unless both parties agree to updated terms in writing.
